North of England Centre For Music & Arts is a not-for-profit community interest company.

Through our ensembles, teaching, concerts, workshops and events we aim to involve as wide a range of people as possible in the pleasure, enrichment and inspiration that music and music-making brings.

The centre also provides a community hub, café and warm space, we are licensed for weddings and the centre is available for event hire.

The Hanson Musical Instruments repair workshop for can be found on the ground floor - a small family business established in 1989 making and restoring woodwind, brass and stringed musical instruments.

Proceeds from the music shop and café help to pay for running the centre.
